Jessica Malnik is a content strategist and copywriter for remote work & ecommerce software companies.
She has been working remotely since 2015. She founded this site after years of struggling to find high-quality, independent resources for various challenges that come with working remotely, including building a dynamic team culture, remote communication nuances, organizing team retreats, giving performance feedback remotely, and more.
So, she leaned on her content marketing and community-building roots, and started this site in December 2019 to scratch her own itch.
The goal of this site is to become the go-to community for any founder, CEO or marketer leading a remote-first team.

Grace Trumpfeller is a content strategist and copywriter with a passion for thriving remotely. After spending several years in a traditional digital marketing agency, Grace felt stifled by the 9 to 5, and the corporate pressure that can come along with it. In 2019, she took a leap of faith to move to Denver, Colorado, where she currently operates a fully-remote boutique content marketing agency with her partner.
With roots in investigative journalism, Grace is always looking for a story—especially as it pertains to dispersed teams and remote work best practices. When she’s not working, you can find Grace exploring the mountains or tending to her several (several dozen) houseplants. Find her on Twitter or connect on LinkedIn to learn more, or give her a shout on the Remote Work Tribe Twitter.
Sebastián Cuervo is a digital anthropologist and the content marketing lead at RWT.
After working remotely for several years he found out that working anywhere anytime is priceless. He spends a lot of time researching remote work tribes, learning from them, and sharing best practices and insights.
He explores and seeks to understand relationships between individuals and their cultural and social systems in a digital world, particularly concerning our work (how it has evolved) and how we do our jobs.
